Gabriel is a seasoned communications professional with over 20 years of experience managing global, Asia Pacific and Australasian communications programs.
He has developed and managed integrated communications programs for energy and cleantech companies including Enphase Energy, SolarMax, Yingli Solar, Landis+Gyr, Ecoult and Star Scientific.
Through his career, Gabriel has developed a sound understanding of the energy industry and the issues, government policies, stakeholders and opinion forming media who surround it. He uses these insights to help companies develop their value proposition to target consumers, businesses and key decision makers.
Most recently, he managed an integrated content and communications program for the launch of research from Landis+Gyr that looked at the impact of grid-edge technologies on Australia’s energy value chain. He has also developed an integrated campaign for Star Scientific’s brand and product commercialisation launch through content, digital, earned media, stakeholder and government relations.
Gabriel worked with Enphase Energy as an Asia Pacific Communications Consultant for four years. He had an integrated communications remit which included media and social media outreach, content development, industry events and partner communications. During this period, Gabriel introduced the Enphase Home Energy Solution in Australia and New Zealand and launched Enphase in New Zealand and India.
Outside of energy and cleantech, he has represented corporate and technology brands including Oracle, SAP, FedEx, Fuji Xerox, HP, NetApp and Samsung Electronics.
Gabriel has a Master of Environmental Management from UNSW Australia, Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture from Charles Sturt University and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Professional Communications from RMIT University.
